[COVID-19] Response Manual for quarantine level 1

  1. Greetings in the Lord.

  2. Reference: "Adjustment and Guidance of social distancing in Seoul/Metropolitan area" [Ministry of Education, Department of Student Health Policy - 8755], Via this official document, the government eased the measures in consideration of the decrease in the daily number of confirmed cases, medical capacities, and the social acceptability.

  3. According to the above, we guide you through the COVID-19 response manual as follows. Therefore, we are requesting to each department and members of the school for the proactive cooperation.

  4. In order to abide by the quarantine regulations, your cooperation is repeatedly requested.
    • Wear masks all the time [It is mandatory for those who visit the campus]
    • Maintain physical distancing at least 1m in all directions (2m distancing recommended)
    • Hand washing: wash with soap for more than 30 seconds or wash with hand sanitizer
    • Disinfection of door knobs: door knobs on offices or labs should be disinfected by oneself with ethanol (ethanol is offered at the office of administration) at least once a day. Also, the doorknobs on entrance or toilets are recommended to disinfected by users.
    • Ventilation: Open the entire window every two hours and ventilate (same for air conditioning operating condition)

  5. We are planning to operate the school entrance and facilities as follows, so please cooperate even though there is a little inconvenience.
    • Period: October 15th ~ until the following notice
    • Main access control
      i. West gate: close
      ii. North / South gate and other main buildings
      a. Every day (except for the weekends and holidays) from 08:00 to 16:00, place full-time staff in order to help febrile check and check-in (QR code).
      b. In case of bad weather (i.e. rain, etc.): full-time staff at the North/South gate will move the post to 3rd floor of Moffett Bldg., 4th floor of Soyang Bldg. and 1st floor of Women's music hall. Elevator in Moffett Bldg. will be operated only B2 floor and 3rd floor.
      c. From 16:00 to 22:00, unify the entrance for each building (3rd floor of Moffett Bldg., 4th floor Soyang Bldg., 1st floor Women's music hall), and install the facial recognizing camera to self-control by the visitor oneself.
      iii. Dormitory: install facial recognizing camera at each building in order for students to voluntarily check their body temperature.
    • Sports facilities
      i. Weight room: it will be operated in pre-reservation system with full-time staff. Quarantine regulations shall be strictly observed. Detailed information will be announced by Glocal Field Institute.
      ii. Table tennis room and Activity room: It will be shut down for everyone's safety as it is on the basement floor.
      iii. Outdoor facilities [school yard, basketball court, tennis court]: reservation at the portal. Febrile check and QR code check-in at South gate to use.
    • Prayer Tower: operated from 09:00 to 17:00, with strict quarantine activities by Spirituality formation Office.
    • E. Learning Commons: each students' council will be in charge of access control.

  6. Library [refer to the library website for the detailed information]
    • Subject: Only registered students are allowed (members/alumni are not permitted to enter, however; are allowed to check-in/out book at the desk in closed manner)
    • Operation hour: 09:00 ~ 21:00
    • Reading room on 8th floor of Soyang Bldg. and reading room for graduate school are operating from 09:00 to 21:00 with strict quarantine regulations.

  7. Class related notice [refer to each course's notice for more information]
    • College/ Seminary: Practicums will be proceeded on campus starting from October 26th (Mon), other lectures below 64 students will be proceeded on campus conditionally from November 2nd (Mon).
    • Graduate course: maintain on-line class manner.

  8. Chapel: On-site worship shall be served at the Han KyungJik Memorial Chapel with the limited participants up to 280 people. For more information, please refer to the notice posted by the department in charge.

  9. Kwang Jang Church and Du Rae Church are allowed to use chapel from Sunday, October 25th, 2020 with strict observation of quarantine regulations.

  10. Others: Above notice can be change anytime according to the quarantine regulation of the nation.
